After spending 17 of my 20 years of life celebrating Christmas with my great-grandparents in Oregon, I feel blessed to have had that much time with them.
I can only hope my kids get to spend that many years (and hopefully longer) getting to know their great-grandparents. (Because my grandma is THE most amazing person on this planet…hands down.)
